Dr. Farley Cleghorn is a globally respected physician, public health leader, researcher, and advocate whose career has been dedicated to improving health outcomes and advancing equity for communities around the world.
Born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Cleghorn brings a deeply rooted Caribbean perspective to decades of work spanning medicine, infectious disease, global health, health systems, research, and community-centered solutions. His leadership has helped bridge science and public health with the lived realities of people whose voices and needs are too often overlooked.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Cleghorn has worked across the United States, the Caribbean, Africa, and other international settings, contributing to efforts addressing HIV/AIDS, health disparities, strengthening healthcare systems, and improving access to quality care. His work reflects a belief that meaningful health outcomes require more than treatment alone. They require attention to the social, cultural, emotional, and economic circumstances that shape people’s lives.
Dr. Cleghorn has also been an important voice and supporter in the growth of Beyond The Call 24 7, helping strengthen its vision of moving difficult conversations beyond awareness and toward healing, solutions, and measurable community impact.
At BTC 2026 HEAL & RISE, Dr. Cleghorn brings his global health experience and Caribbean heritage to our focus on Youth & Women’s Mental Health, exploring how communities can better understand the forces affecting mental and emotional well-being and, most importantly, how we can move toward solutions.
His participation reflects the heart of HEAL & RISE: bringing expertise, lived experience, storytelling, heritage, and community together so that healing does not end with a conversation, but becomes a pathway forward.
